Lou Fernandez is an accomplished entrepreneurial executive with over 20 years of professional experience in multiple industries, including 14+  years experience working with Corporate Boards of Directors.  He creates business value through his experience in business and financial management, audit, operations, strategy, business development and analysis, project management, systems implementation, regulatory compliance.   He brings Fortune 500  global international experience and perspectives.

Most recently he was Vice President of Corporate Audit  & Consulting at Navistar International, a $15 Billion truck and engine manufacturer.  Previous to his tenure at Navistar, he was a Director of Finance at Dade Behring, Inc., a $2 billion medical device manufacturer, where he oversaw the accounting and finance functions for the Company’s $100 million Latin American region. 

He spent 6 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC and, as a Senior Manager in their Global Risk Management Solutions practice where he worked with a variety of Fortune 1000 manufacturing clients.  He has also previously held positions with Cole Taylor Bank, Household International and Blackman Kallick.

Mr. Fernandez holds an M.B.A. in Finance & Business Policy from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.

He has contributed to his professional and civic community as a former Chapter President and Board Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, as a Program Director for the Knights of Columbus and as an adult trained Leader in the Boy Scouts of America for the last 10 years.

Mr. Fernandez, his wife and 4 children reside in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
